Privacy Policy
Everything stays on your phone — including every camera frame.
Effective July 20, 2026 · Applies to the DropTen iOS app and dropten.app
What we collect
Nothing. DropTen does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no account to create, no analytics SDK, no advertising identifier, and no third-party tracking of any kind — in the app or on this website.
The camera
DropTen uses your front camera for exactly one purpose: counting push-ups during penalty sets. Camera frames are analyzed on your device in real time using Apple's on-device vision frameworks and are immediately discarded. No photo or video is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted — the app has no server to send anything to, and writes no images to your photo library or to disk. The camera runs only during penalty counting and stops the moment a set ends.
Where your data lives
Your session history, streaks, question progress, and preferences are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. They're included in your normal device backup (iCloud or computer), under settings you control. Delete the app and that data is deleted with it — we have no copy, and couldn't recover it if we wanted to.
Network access
The app works fully offline and makes no network requests of its own. The question bank, the coach's voice, and the rep counter all ship inside the app. Standard Apple services around the app — the App Store, TestFlight, in-app purchases, iCloud device backup — are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
This website
dropten.app is a static site served via Cloudflare. We run no analytics and set no cookies. Cloudflare, as our host, processes standard server logs (like IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site, per Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Health disclaimer
DropTen provides general fitness content, not medical advice. Push-ups are exercise; consult your physician before beginning any exercise program, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath.
Children
DropTen is not directed at children under 13 and, collecting no data at all, collects no data from them.
Attribution
The free question pool includes content adapted from the Open Trivia Database and OpenTriviaQA, used under the Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0 license.
Changes
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature needs network access — we'll update this page and the effective date above before that feature ships. The current promise stands: what happens in DropTen stays on your iPhone.
