The camera isn't counting my push-ups
- Phone placement: flat on the floor, screen up, directly under your chest. Don't prop it against anything.
- Watch the ring: the circular viewfinder fills while it locks on — hold your plank steady for a second, or simply start your first rep and it locks on automatically.
- Green means tracked: the viewfinder ring turns green while the camera sees you. If it turns red mid-set, adjust until you're over the phone.
- Light matters a little: the screen brightens to light you up, but a pitch-dark room may still need the tap counter.
- The tap counter is always there: if the camera can't see you, a "Tap each rep" button appears — no set is ever blocked.
- Test it anytime: Settings → "Test the push-up counter" runs the camera with live diagnostics.
Camera permission
DropTen needs camera access to count reps. If you declined it, enable it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → DropTen. Everything is processed on-device; see the privacy policy.
Questions repeat / difficulty feels wrong
Questions never repeat until you've been through the whole 1,500-question pool (check progress in Settings). Easy/Medium/Hard on the home screen sets your daily debt, the answer timer, and how hard the questions lean.
Streaks
Complete your debt on weekdays to keep the streak; quiet weekends don't break it. Today never breaks your streak while it's still today.
Purchases
The daily session is free forever. The one-time Everything Unlock adds custom debt/chunk sizes and detailed stats. Restore it anytime from the paywall screen; purchases are handled by Apple and shared across your devices via your Apple ID.
